The long-neglected Lagos-Abeokuta Road, a nightmare for motorists and commuters, is undergoing emergency repairs.
This is part of the newly introduced ‘Operation Free Our Roads,’ which is designed to provide relief to motorists and commuters on all federal roads nationwide.
According to a statement signed by Mr Uchenna Orji, the Special Adviser, Media to the Minister of Works, Mr David Umahi, the Ministry is bringing relief on the 7km neglected sections of the Lagos-Sango-Otta-Abeokuta road in conjunction with the concessionaire.
It emphasises the government’s commitment to addressing pressing infrastructural issues affecting commuters.
