LASG ANNOUNCES TRAFFIC DIVERSION AT IYANA-ERA, OJO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

There will be traffic diversion at Iyana-Era road in Ojo local government area for the rehabilitation of a twenty -meter bridge from Friday this week

So says the state’s Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde in a statement.

The road work to commence midnight on Friday will last twelve months.

Dr. Oladeinde explained that the construction was pertinent to address the factors responsible for the frequent deterioration of the section of the road.

The commissioner said that motorists heading towards Shibiri, Ajangbadi and Igbogbo axis would be diverted at Era-Adaloko roundabout into a Contra flow on the Badagry bound lane to minimize the inconveniences during the course of the repairs.

Dr Oladeinde assured the motoring public that the state’s Traffic Management Agency, LASTMA, would be on ground to direct traffic in addition to traffic guides which will be strategically placed to guide vehicular movement during the stipulated period.
