AGEGE COUNCIL BOSS CONVERT CRIMINAL HIDEOUT TO MODERN MARKET IN LAGOS

The Agege Local Government Area of Lagos State has transformed a criminal hideout at Moshalashi Alhaja area of the council into a modern mini-market.

The Chairman of the council, Alhaji Ganiyu Egunjobi, who made this known during a news conference at the council secretariat,explained that the development was in fulfilment of his pledge to the residents.According to Alhaji Egunjobi, the development will reduce crime and add value to the socio-economic development of the council area.

The chairman advised youths in the area to take advantage of the council’s vocational centre to acquire skills to make them meaningful to themselves and society, rather than engaging in criminal activities.

Alhaji Egunjobi also, assured that the council would not allow any area to be turned into a hiding place for criminals in the council area.
