FIRE SERVICE SALVAGES THREE EMERGENCY OVERNIGHT INFERNO IN LAGOS.

The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has salvaged three emergency infernos overnight across the state.
One is at Alfred Olaiya Estate, Salvation bus stop Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos, involving a peddler truck conveying AGO, meant to supply a client within the vicinity.
It was reported that the truck fell on its side while negotiating a bend and erupted in Fire.
Two Fire Engines and Crews are currently battling the inferno which started around five o’clock this morning and has been confined to the truck and salvaged from spreading to the residential neighbourhood in order not to cause further threat.
Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs, Adeseye Margaret who made this known to newsmen said there was no record of death or injury as firefighters and other relevant agencies are still on going salvaging the situation.
Meanwhile, two separate Fire incidents had also been attended to successfully overnight, one at 15 Oladire Street, Isale Aruna, in front of New Holy Mary C & S Church, Ifako Ijaye, Lagos, where six Shops were affected.
The other fire occurred at Sifax Bonded Terminal 1, Dele Bakare Street, Trinity Bus Stop, opposite Westminster, Apapa, Lagos.
