LAGOS LAWMAKER SLUMP AND DIES IN JOS, DURING APC CAMPAIGN FLAG OFF

A member of Lagos State Assembly, Mr. Olawale Olayiwola-Abdulsobur, fondly called “Omititi” is dead.

The two-term lawmaker representing Mushin constituency two reportedly slumped and died after the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential campaign launch in Jos, Plateau State.

The Chairman, Lagos Assembly committee on Information, Security and Strategy, Mr. Setonji David confirmed the unfortunate incident in a statement made available to RadioOne.

Mr. David noted that the death of “Omititi”, who until his demise was the Chairman House Committee on Local Government and Community Relations, has thrown the assembly into mourning.

The late lawmaker, aged fifty-eight, became a member of the Lagos Assembly in 2015, but lost the party’s primary to contest for a third term.
