Corps Members Urged To Adhere to COVID-19 Safety Protocols

2022 Batch “A” Stream Two Corps Members Posted to Lagos State taking Oath of Allegiance at the Swearing-in ceremony held at the NYSC Orientation camp in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos

National Youths Corps members have been charged not to cease from adhering to the COVID-19 safety protocols wherever they found themselves particarly, at the orientation camps.

The Lagos State Coordinator, National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, Mr. Eddy Megwa gave the charge at the Swearing-in of the 2022 Batch “A” Stream Two Corps members posted to Lagos state, held at the temporary Orientation camp in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos.

He said that the war against the COVID-19 pandemic is still on across the country and as such Nigerians, including corps members should not loose their guard in keeping safe in the face of the deadly virus.

The NYSC boss in Lagos State announced that no case of Corona Virus infection had been reported among the Two Thousand and Fifteen Corps members that been registered so far at the Lagos State orientation camp under the 2022 Batch “A” Stream Two programme.

Mr. Megwa however, urged the Corps members to adhere to all camp rules and eschew all forms of indescipline within and outside the orientation camp.

He enjoined the Corps members to be security conscious at all times and avoid travelling at night after the orientation course.

Justice Yakubu Oshoala, who represented the Chief Judge of Lagos state at the occasion administered Oath of Allegiance on the Corps members.
