Encomiums as SoftAlliance Celebrates 20 Years of Innovative Enterprise Solutions

The Lagos State Government says it will continue to support innovations that will improve good governance and service delivery.

The Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat stated this at a Gala to celebrate the 20th anniversary of SoftAlliance, a fintech company that handles the state government’s payment, revenue generation, and transportation solutions in Victoria Island.

Represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Taxation, Mr Opeyemi Ogunbo, the deputy governor acknowledged the company’s pioneering effort in public service payment solution through the Oracle payment platform and other feats by the indigenous software company to ensure ease of governance.

Welcoming guests, customers and tech enthusiasts to the Gala, the Managing Director of SoftAlliance, Dr Bisi Aina said the company had moved from its humble beginning to being a giant in the industry with the support and dedication of staff and the ability to adapt to the changing technological landscape.

“What started then as a vision has today grown into one of the leading technology companies in Africa, trusted by governments, multinationals, and local businesses alike.

“The journey has been one of constant evolution, adapting to new challenges, seizing opportunities, and, most importantly, growing alongside our clients.

“Over the past two decades, SoftAlliance has become synonymous with excellence in enterprise solutions, digital transformation, and innovative service delivery,” said Dr Aina.

Awards were given to organizations which had supported the company in the last twenty years including the Lagos State Government for being a long standing partner.

Dignitaries at the Gala to mark the 20th anniversary of SoftAlliance included representatives of Lagos, Ekiti, Kwara and Bayelsa State Governments and captains of industry.
