Chairman Steering Committee, Dr Abimbola Mabogunje, said it was a significant milestone in the journey to tackle tuberculosis health issues as it would play a vital role in the response to TB in Lagos State.

She urged people to support government in working to shape a vital future for the state where no one needs to suffer from TB.

Giving the Technical Brief of the initiative, Dr Rotimi Agbolagoriite, who said tuberculosis was no respecter of social class, noted that the state government had been proactive in tackling the disease in its commitment to further increase the level of awareness.
