Nigeria Go Goal Crazy in IHF Junior Trophy Tournament

Nigeria male age group handball teams participating at the IHF Trophy Tournament for Africa Zone 3 continued their superlative performance on day 2 of the competition in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

In Nigeria’s first Wednesday game, the under 18 boys put up a fantastic performance as the Coach Emeka Nnamani tutored side, destroyed Liberia with an emphatic 79 – 15 victory.

The margin of win remains the highest in the championship so far.

Elsewhere the under 20 team led by Coach Fidelis Obi couldn’t score outrageous number of goals but they did their business brusquely to dispatch stubborn Niger Republic 28-22 .

The teams will also play on Thursday November 24 with Nigeria’s Under 18 side facing Benin Republic while the under 20 squad confront Ghana.
