Nigeria and the European Union (EU) will hold a Senior Officials Meeting in Abuja to deepen bilateral ties and prepare for the upcoming Nigeria–EU Ministerial Dialogue.
According to the EU, the high-level talks will focus on enhancing cooperation across key areas such as security, trade, education, digital innovation, climate action, and migration.
The meeting will be co-chaired by Amb. Janet Olisa from Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Mathieu Briens of the European External Action Service.
Officials say the dialogue reflects the growing importance of Nigeria-EU relations, now considered one of the EU’s most strategic partnerships in Africa.
