The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has officially released the results of the entrance examination into Model Colleges and Upgraded Schools for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, candidates and their parents can now access the results at their respective schools of choice.
Mrs. Dokunmu-Adegbite assured that the admission process will be strictly merit-based, determined solely by candidates’ Screening Test performance, with school-specific cut-off marks guiding placement decisions.
She warned against attempts to manipulate the process, stressing that the Lagos State Government maintains a transparent and equitable system and does not condone backdoor admissions.
“We urge parents and guardians to be vigilant and avoid falling prey to fraudsters.
Every successful candidate will be treated equally in the placement process,” she said.
The Ministry reiterated its commitment to fairness and excellence in the ongoing drive to improve access to quality secondary education across Lagos State.
