A former member of Lagos State Assembly, Mr. Victor Akande, has been reported dead.
Mr. Akande was a two-term member of the Assembly, who represented Ojo Constituency one between 2015 and 2023.
The deceased lawmaker was first elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP before defecting to the APC, where he contested for the second term election, and won.
Confirming the development, a stalwart of the APC in Ojo, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the news has affected the party in the constituency, considering Mr. Akande’s role in the party.
