FG Releases Unity Schools Admission, Automates Process for Transparency

The Federal Ministry of Education has announced the release of admissions into Federal Unity Colleges across Nigeria, describing it as a significant step toward transparency, efficiency, and improved capacity management in secondary school placements.

In a statement, the Ministry disclosed that admissions are now fully automated and strictly conducted within the approved capacity of each school, ending the era of overstretched facilities.

The current exercise covers 80 conventional Federal Unity Colleges for Junior Secondary School 1, while admission into 42 Federal Technical Colleges under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme will be released later.

According to the Ministry, the reform will streamline the admission process, enhance accountability, and maintain high educational standards nationwide.

Parents and guardians can now access admission results via the Ministry’s official website: www.education.gov.ng.
