Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has sworn in Mr. Olufemi Okeowo as Chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
The brief ceremony, held at Lagos House, Ikeja, saw the governor charge Mr. Okeowo to build on the successes of his first term and surpass his previous achievements in service delivery.
Governor Sanwo-Olu explained that the inauguration came about two weeks later than other council chairmen due to Okeowo’s ill health. He, however, expressed confidence in the chairman’s ability to deliver on his mandate.
The governor also called on councillors and stakeholders in Ifelodun LCDA to give Okeowo maximum support in order to actualise his campaign promises for the benefit of residents.
The event was attended by members of the Lagos State Executive Council, family, friends, and well-wishers of the newly inaugurated council chairman.
