ATPN Launches FCT Abuja Chapter, A New Era for Nigerian Tourism

The Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN) has officially inaugurated its FCT Abuja Chapter in a grand ceremony that marked a new dawn for tourism advocacy and development in the nation’s capital.

In his inaugural speech, the National President of ATPN, Prince Femi Fadina, described the moment as “a bold declaration that tourism in Nigeria is alive, vibrant, and ready to flourish in the corridors of power.” And noted that Abuja was not just a location, but the stage on which Nigeria tells her story.

He called on the new FCT Abuja Chapter to see themselves as the face of tourism before policymakers, the voice before investors, and the strength of the association before the world.

Prince Fadina assured members of his total commitment to the success of the new chapter, pledging the full support of the national body in empowering practitioners, attracting investors, and positioning Abuja as a tourism hub in West Africa.

The Vice President, FCT, Abigail Olagbaye, expressed gratitude to the President for his presence and encouragement, calling the inauguration a turning point for tourism in Abuja.

In her closing remarks, the newly elected Chairperson of ATPN FCT Chapter, Juli Ofuyeta, delivered a vote of thanks, appreciating the leadership of ATPN and pledging the chapter’s readiness to live up to its responsibility as a dynamic, innovative, and strategic arm of the association.

The inauguration sets the stage for tourism practitioners in Abuja to harness opportunities, influence policy, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s tourism growth agenda.

With this development, the ATPN reaffirms it’s commitment to inclusiveness, excellence, and professionalism in driving the Nigerian tourism industry forward.
