The fourth edition of the Nigeria Electronic Media Content Exhibition and Awards (NEMCEA 2025) ended in grand style, lighting up Lagos with colour, glamour and recognition for some of the brightest names in the country’s creative industry.

With the theme “Sustainable Content Creation in a Fragmented Media Space,” the two-day event brought together heads of regulatory agencies, ministries, parastatals, and industry heavyweights. President of the Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN), Mr. Adeniji Omirin, described NEMCEA as “a marketplace of ideas and a hub for collaboration and excellence in Nigeria’s media and creative economy.”
True to that description, the night reached its peak with the much-anticipated awards ceremony. The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) took centre stage, receiving a Special Recognition Award as a leading broadcast brand with a special impact programming, while its youth-focused digital arm, Click Naija, sparkled proudly by clinching the award for Best Online Radio. The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) was also honoured in the special recognition category.

Representing FRCN’s Director-General, Dr. Bulama Mohammed, were top management staff including Mrs. Bolanle Owoyemi (Director, Lagos Operations), Mr. Osana Oname (Director, Corporate Communications and Development), Ms. Maria Iheomas (General Manager, Metro FM) and Mrs. Ehizogie Ohiani (General Manager, Click Naija). Their presence, alongside other FRCN staff, brought glamour and infectious energy to the celebrations.
