Nigeria Unveils Theme for 65th Independence Day Celebrations

The Federal Government has unveiled the official theme for Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day celebrations as “Nigeria at 65: All Hands on Deck for a Greater Nation.”

This was disclosed in Abuja through a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Segun Imohiosen.

According to the statement, the theme underscores Nigeria’s resilience since independence in 1960 and emphasizes the need to build on past achievements while pursuing greater national goals under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

As part of the anniversary activities, a Juma’at prayer will hold tomorrow, an inter-denominational church service is scheduled for Sunday, September 28, while a World Press Conference will follow on Monday, September 29, all in Abuja.
