The Lagos State Lands Bureau has introduced new measures aimed at promoting orderliness and curbing sharp practices in land transactions across the state.
Speaking at the Bureau’s monthly Regulatory Clinic, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago, announced the rollout of a Visitor’s Tag System to streamline processes, enhance security, and improve public engagement.
He explained that the system would eliminate unauthorised movements within the Bureau’s premises, discourage fraudulent activities, and ensure visitors are properly identified and directed to the appropriate Directorates or Units.
Mr. Olowoshago urged members of the public engaging the Bureau on land-related matters to comply with the new procedure, while assuring that the Bureau remains committed to transparency and efficient land administration in Lagos State.
