The excitement is building as the Legacy Volleyball Super 4 Tournament serves off this Friday, November 7, 2025 at Surulere, Lagos, in celebration of Legacy Volleyball Club’s 20th anniversary.
The two-day competition will feature eight elite teams from across Lagos, promising thrilling rallies and intense matchups.
In the men’s category, Legacy Volleyball Club, Lekki Volleyball Club, Street Friendly Volleyball Club, and Amuwo Spikers will battle it out in a round-robin format.
The women’s event will see Legacy, Lekki, 1015 Spikers, and Amuwo Spikers clash for a ₦500,000 winner-takes-all prize, adding extra spice to the anniversary celebration.
Beyond the court action, the celebration lineup includes a veterans’ exhibition match, charity visits to orphanages, and a grand gala night on Saturday, November 22, rounding off the milestone festivities in style.
Speaking with journalists, Joy Ezenwa, President of Legacy Volleyball Club, described the 20-year journey as a story of resilience, unity, and passion.
“Legacy is more than just a sports club — it’s a family,” she said. “We’ve faced challenges, but our bond and love for the game have kept us strong.”
Ezenwa emphasized that the celebration is not only about volleyball but also about reconnecting with past members and honoring the community the club has built over two decades.
“We invite all volleyball enthusiasts and stakeholders to come share in this moment,” she added. “It’s a celebration of friendship, sportsmanship, and the bright future ahead.”
