NIFES Urges FG to Improve Education Through Adequate Funding, Reward Systems

The Nigerian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES) has urged the Federal Government to strengthen the country’s educational sector by increasing funding, promoting a culture of excellence, and ensuring exemplary leadership among public office holders.

Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja ahead of the upcoming National Missions Conference, the National Director of NIFES, Mr. Rex Onuh, said the event scheduled to hold later this month will bring together over 3,000 tertiary students from 399 institutions across Nigeria.

Mr. Onuh stressed that national transformation begins with individuals whose hearts and values have been positively shaped.

He noted that the conference aims to nurture such values among young Nigerians.

According to him, for Nigeria to progress, citizens and leaders alike must embrace love, integrity, responsible leadership, and a reformed value system that upholds the rule of law.
