From Insight to Dancefloor: How Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Gerald Wolf, Marian Anazodo & Co. Made ‘No Dull Yourself’ Unforgettable

Hangoutwithtee brought an unforgettable wave of energy, inspiration, and celebration to Lagos on Saturday, November 8, at the UNILAG Multipurpose Hall, Akoka, with its “No Dull Yourself” event.

The event opened with Dr. Adeoye Adeyoola, who spoke on the benefits of sleep and the importance of rest for overall wellness, setting a thoughtful and inspiring tone for the day. The event then featured a stellar lineup of influential speakers who captivated the audience with insights, inspiration, and practical encouragement. Special Guest Speaker, Mr. Gerald Wolf, Deputy Consul General of the German Consulate in Lagos, delivered a motivating address. Other speakers included Kayode Kuti, CEO of TertiaryDNS, who emphasized the importance of seizing opportunities in a rapidly changing world; ace journalist Adesuwa Onyenokwe; TV broadcaster Marian Anazodo; entertainment lawyer Yemisi Falaye; DSVA Executive Secretary Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi; specialist obstetrician Dr. Olabisi Olanrewaju; and author Mariam Pedro-Tijani, who encouraged women to embrace the beauty of the soft life. Each speaker’s message echoed a single powerful theme: don’t dull yourself, shine unapologetically and live fully.

As is tradition at Hangoutwithtee events, the energy extended beyond the speeches. All the speakers joined in the fun, dancing and engaging with the audience, creating a lively and interactive atmosphere that left everyone smiling. The event was hosted with charisma and charm by Unekwu Nwaezeapu, whose engaging style ensured that every segment flowed seamlessly and kept the crowd energized. Adding to the magic, poetry performances by Kemistree Bakare and Ife Global stirred emotions, inspiring reflection, joy, and celebration of creativity.

Founder and convener Titi Oyemade expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her partners, noting that the event wouldn’t have been possible without their support.
