FRCN Lagos Holds First 2026 Staff Forum, Tackles Workplace Reforms

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Lagos Operations, has convened its first staff forum for the year 2026 at its Ikoyi office, marking the official commencement of activities for the new year.

Speaking at the forum, the Director of Lagos Operations, Princess Adenike Adegoke, described the gathering as an “open heavens” initiative aimed at setting a positive tone for the year ahead.

Princess Adegoke expressed concern over staff absenteeism and emphasised the need for punctuality and commitment to duty.

She disclosed that management would commence the regularisation and verification of academic and professional qualifications for all staff, urging employees to promptly update their official records.

The Director also stressed the importance of proper maintenance and cleanliness across all departments to promote a conducive working environment.

Highlighting revenue generation, Princess Adegoke noted that every member of staff is a brand ambassador and salesperson for the organisation.

She announced that FRCN Lagos would update its advertising and sponsorship rate cards to reflect the prevailing economic realities in Nigeria.

She further called for unity, cooperation, and teamwork among staff as key drivers of productivity and institutional growth.

The forum featured interfaith prayers led by Christian and Muslim clerics, who prayed for divine guidance, peace, and success for FRCN Lagos Operations in the new year.
