The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin, has congratulated the Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Mr Benjamin Hundeyin, on his promotion to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
Mr Abolurin conveyed his congratulatory message following the decoration ceremony of the Force PRO, which held on Wednesday, February 5, 2026, at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja.
He described the promotion from Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to ACP as well deserved, noting that it reflects Mr Hundeyin’s professionalism, dedication to duty and consistent commitment to effective policing and public communication.
The Lagos NSCDC spokesperson joined other well-meaning Nigerians at home and abroad in commending the Police Service Commission and the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, under the Inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for recognising and rewarding excellence within the service.
Mr Abolurin also conveyed the goodwill and warm congratulations of the Lagos State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, to the newly promoted ACP.
He expressed delight over the elevation of what he described as a humble, disciplined and committed colleague, adding that the promotion would further strengthen inter-agency collaboration and public trust in security institutions across the country.
