2027: Ikeja APC Leaders Laud SMA’s Grassroots Mobilisation Drive

Leaders and coordinators of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikeja Division 2 have commended Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, popularly known as SMA Gold, for his sustained engagement with grassroots stakeholders, describing it as critical to effective political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The commendation came during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held at the Women Development Centre, Agege, where Ajose outlined plans to deepen community networks, foster party unity, and strengthen local party structures in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his own governorship aspiration in Lagos State.

Addressing party members and residents, Ajose emphasised the importance of voter participation, urging eligible citizens to register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

He described the PVC as the most powerful tool for sustaining democratic gains and ensuring meaningful civic participation.

He further highlighted grassroots involvement as essential to consolidating the economic and political achievements of the current administration, noting that community mobilisation remains the backbone of sustainable governance.

Speaking on his governorship ambition, Ajose underscored the need for increased political representation for Badagry Division, citing the area’s historical absence from top-level political leadership in Lagos State.

He reaffirmed his alignment with President Tinubu’s progressive ideals and governance philosophy.

Participants at the meeting pledged their continued support for the Tinubu administration and the SMA political movement, stressing the role of grassroots mobilisation in strengthening the APC and positioning the party for success ahead of the 2027 election cycle
