The Lagos State Government has issued notices of intent to seal multiple markets and commercial premises in Ikorodu following environmental sanitation violations.
The action was disclosed by Muyiwa Gbadegbesin, Managing Director of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority, after enforcement teams carried out routine compliance inspections across the axis.
According to the agency, the affected locations include Ferry Terminal, No. 6 NBC Road and No. 7 NBC Road in Ebute, Ominu Ajasa and Royal Family premises, Ladega Market, and Better Life Market.
Authorities say the enforcement is part of ongoing statewide environmental compliance efforts aimed at improving sanitation standards and preventing indiscriminate waste disposal in commercial areas.
