JAMB Opens 2026 UTME Slip Printing for Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination slips.

The board made the announcement on Thursday, urging candidates to visit its official website to access and print their slips ahead of the examination.

According to JAMB, the slip contains key details such as the examination date, venue, and time, and is required for entry into the exam hall.

Candidates are to log on to jamb.gov.ng and select the “2026 Slip Printing” option to download and print their slips.

JAMB also debunked a viral press release claiming the examination had been postponed, describing it as fake and malicious.

Candidates were advised to ignore such misinformation.

The 2026 UTME is scheduled to hold from April 16 to April 25, 2026.

The examination follows a mock test conducted on March 28, which experienced technical issues at some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.

Out of 224,597 registered candidates, 152,586 participated across 989 centres nationwide, while over 20 centres were delisted due to technical shortcomings.

The board further warned candidates to steer clear of fraudsters, particularly on WhatsApp, who claim to manipulate scores.

It stressed that such activities are criminal and could lead to disqualification or withholding of results.
