Radio Nigeria, Dangote Industries Strengthen Media–Corporate Partnership Drive

The Director of Lagos Operations, Princess Adenike Adegoke, has led a high-level strategic visit to Dangote Industries Limited in Lagos, reinforcing collaboration between public broadcasting and corporate communication for national development.

Princess Adegoke was received by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, who described the engagement as a significant step toward strengthening media partnerships capable of amplifying the reach and impact of Dangote Group’s diverse operations across Nigeria.

Chiejina highlighted the extensive footprint of Dangote products spanning cement, petroleum, and consumer goods, emphasising that collaboration with a wide-reaching platform like Radio Nigeria is essential for deepening public awareness, building trust, and enhancing grassroots engagement.

He noted that such partnerships also provide an avenue to educate Nigerians on critical sectors including construction, energy, and industrial growth.

He further pointed to Nigeria’s evolving economic landscape, particularly in petroleum production and export, as a major opportunity for broadcast media to showcase national achievements, stimulate enterprise growth, and inspire small and medium-scale businesses.

On her part, Princess Adegoke underscored the strategic reach of Radio Nigeria, noting that Lagos Operations alone runs multiple FM stations with extensive coverage across the South-West and beyond.

She added that the organisation’s nationwide network of over 40 stations, complemented by digital and social media platforms, positions it as a powerful vehicle for information dissemination, public enlightenment, and national integration.

She explained that the visit was aimed at exploring mutually beneficial partnerships, including sponsored programmes, specialised content creation, and strategic broadcasting initiatives designed to promote corporate activities while informing and educating the public.

Both parties identified key areas of collaboration such as promoting locally produced goods, driving public enlightenment on industrial processes, and developing dedicated programmes around national development themes including infrastructure, oil and gas, and entrepreneurship.

The engagement also featured discussions on leveraging Radio Nigeria’s flagship programmes and news platforms to highlight Dangote Industries’ contributions to economic growth, while ensuring accessibility of content to diverse audiences, especially at the grassroots level.

Members of the Director’s entourage included the Assistant Director of Marketing, Mrs. Dorothy Muibi; Assistant Director of Procurement, Mr. Benjamin Igbute; and the Brand and Communication Officer, Mr. Francis Awowole-Browne, who also participated in the engagement.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to building a strong, results-driven partnership that aligns media influence with corporate innovation to advance national growth, public awareness, and sustainable development.
