Shasha Monarch Urges Ethical Service During Visit to Radio Nigeria Lagos

The monarch of OniShasha of Shasha Kingdom, HRM Nasiru Akanbi Ogunronbi has urged media professionals to remain committed to integrity and good deeds in the discharge of their responsibilities to the public.

The royal father made the call during a familiarisation visit to the management of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Lagos Operations in Ikoyi.

Speaking during the visit, the traditional ruler emphasised that destiny should not be surrounded by myths capable of discouraging people from hard work and service, stressing that diligence, honesty and positive conduct remain vital to success in life.

The monarch encouraged members of staff of the station to continue to uphold professionalism and dedication in serving the public, noting that media organisations play critical roles in nation building and public enlightenment.

He also advised workers to support the Director of Lagos Operations (DLO), adding that diligent service always pays in the long run and earns respect from society.

Responding, the Director of Lagos Operations of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Princess Adenike Adegoke, appreciated the monarch for the visit, describing it as a demonstration that people at the grassroots appreciate the services being rendered by the station.

Princess Adegoke noted that the visit would further motivate management and staff to improve on their mandate of informing, educating and entertaining the public through quality broadcasting.
