15 Players Arrive Super Eagles Camp in Antalya Ahead of Iran, Jordan Friendlies

Fifteen players have arrived at the Super Eagles training camp in Antalya as Nigeria intensifies preparations for upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.

The camp officially opened on Tuesday, March 24, with coaches and backroom staff arriving earlier to finalize logistics ahead of the players’ arrival.

An advance party from Nigeria had departed on Monday to set up camp, including assistant coaches Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu, alongside medical personnel and the team’s kit manager.

By Tuesday evening, team media officer Promise Efoghe confirmed that 15 players had checked in, with the squad further strengthened by the late arrival of Samuel Chukwueze and Maduka Okoye.

Early arrivals also include midfielders Alex Iwobi and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, while defenders in camp feature Semi Ajayi, Bruno Onyemaechi, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Emmanuel Fernandez.

More players are expected to join the squad as preparations continue for the friendly matches aimed at strengthening the team ahead of future competitive fixtures.
