2023: Defend your Votes, Youths urged

The ability of Nigerian youths to utilize their potentials towards national development depends on the leadership opportunities available to them.

This position was advanced at a Youth forum organized by the Rescue Nigeria Youth – Solomon Dalung Foundation, which was held in Lagos.

Southwest coordinator of the Foundation, Comrade Deji Elemide implored youths not to give in to fake election campaigns, money politics and ensure their votes count.

On his part, the National President of the NGO, Comrade Navy Stephen stated that the main obligation of the foundation was to support youths to distinguish themselves and stand for a realistic change.

Comrade Stephen stressed the need for youths to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration to get their voters card, noting that it is their power to secure their future.

“All we need in Nigeria is change especially for the youths, it is time to build a new Nigeria for everyone to enjoy and live well”.

“People outside the country are trying to rescue the country and it is only right to standby such a person who will lead us right”.

The highpoint of the event was the inauguration of the Southwest zone of the foundation, comprising Oyo, Ogun, Ekiti, Osun, Ondo with its headquarters in Lagos.

The Foundation threw its weight behind a youth, Prince Adebayo Adewole, saying he has the qualities to be Nigeria’s next president.
