Over four thousand, five hundred students have graduated from nineteen skills acquisition centres in Lagos State.
At their graduation ceremony in Ikeja, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, urged the graduands to believe in their abilities as the main thrust of his government was to alleviate poverty, create wealth, job opportunities and uplift Lagosians.The Governor also said the training was a roadmap for graduands to be the best in their chosen careers, learn from one another and be better entrepreneurs, restating his administration’s commitment to human empowerment.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Mrs Cecilia Bolaji-Dada, said the Sanwo-Olu’s administration was committed to empowering women and youths, noting that since 2019 over eighteen thousand students had benefited from the tuition-free training.
At the event which had Cabinet members, and other state government officials in attendance, beneficiaries of the skills acquisition programme thanked the administration for investing in them.
