The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed, has again been conferred with a prestigious Diamond Merit Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
This is in recognition of his remarkable transformational leadership qualities.
The honour which falls under the Member Accountant Category was bestowed upon the Corps Marshal at the ICAN Annual Dinner and Merit Award Ceremony held on Saturday, 17 May, 2025, in Lagos.
The president of the Institute, Mr. Davidson Stephen Alaribe, the Member Accountant Category award is reserved for professional Accountants who have made outstanding contributions in their fields while demonstrating strong support for the accounting profession.

Elated by the recognition, Corps Marshal Mohammed stated that the honour is a call for more dedication, commitment, greater transparency, and accountability in FRSC.

The event brought together captains of industry, policymakers, and professionals from across the country who came to celebrate the institute’s integrity and professionalism as the leading accountancy body in Nigeria.
