With just four days to go, anticipation is reaching fever pitch ahead of the 4th edition of the FRCN Lagos Children Sports Fiesta, set to take place on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The action begins at 9 a.m.This year’s event promises a thrilling display of youth talent, featuring the best of 5-a-side football and track events for junior secondary school students across Lagos State.
In the boys’ football category, 12 junior secondary schools will compete for glory, while six senior secondary schools will battle it out in the girls’ category. Each team will consist of 10 players, including one goalkeeper.Winners in both football categories will be rewarded with trophies and exciting gifts.
Finalists will also receive brand-new, branded jerseys courtesy of top sports apparel brand, OWU Sportswear.
In addition to football, the athletics segment will feature high-energy sprints and relays in both boys’ and girls’ divisions, including the 100 metres and 4×100 metre relays.
The FRCN Lagos Children Sports Fiesta continues to grow in prestige and participation, offering a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills while promoting sportsmanship, fitness, and team spirit among schoolchildren.
