Eid-el-Kabir: Tinubu Thanks Nigerians, Urges Perseverance and Compassion

President Bola Tinubu has expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their patience and faith as his administration implements key reforms aimed at national development.

In his Eid-el-Kabir message, the President reaffirmed his commitment to values such as resilience, tolerance, compassion, and sacrifice, which he said reflect the true meaning of the sacred celebration.

“Eid reminds us of the values of devotion and selflessness, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim. I urge all Muslims to embrace these virtues and renew their commitment to our collective progress,” Tinubu said.

The President encouraged the privileged to extend kindness to the less fortunate, fostering unity and empathy across all divides.

He offered prayers for national peace, especially for those affected by recent tragedies, such as the Mokwa flooding in Niger State.

While acknowledging the economic difficulties faced by many, Tinubu assured citizens that the hardest part of the reform journey is behind, and that positive changes are already taking shape.

“We may not be where we want yet, but economic indicators are moving in the right direction. Our goal is not just to improve figures, but to transform lives sustainably,” he emphasized.

Tinubu called for continued prayers for national leaders, security personnel, and the nation’s well-being, urging Nigerians to use the Eid celebration to seek Allah’s guidance and strength for the country’s future.
