D’Tigress veteran guard, Ezinne Kalu Phelps, has signed with Wuhan Shengfan for the 2025/26 Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) season.
The AfroBasket 2025 champion last featured in China with Zhejiang, where she posted impressive numbers across 33 games—21.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.
Kalu brings vast international experience, having clinched four Women’s AfroBasket titles with Nigeria.
She was also part of D’Tigress’ 2024 Olympic campaign in Paris, where the team reached the quarterfinals.
At the Olympics, she averaged 10 points and 3 rebounds per game, further underlining her remarkable national team journey that began in 2016 after representing Nigeria at junior level in 2011.
