The Federal Government has announced that Nigeria’s leading carrier, Air Peace, will soon commence direct flights from Lagos to São Paulo, Brazil.
This development follows the signing of a bilateral air service agreement during President Bola Tinubu’s two-day state visit to Brazil.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, disclosed in a statement that both leaders witnessed the signing of several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) at the Palácio do Planalto in Brasília, after an extended bilateral meeting.
According to the statement, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, and Brazil’s Foreign Minister, Ambassador Mauro Vieira, signed an agreement on Diplomatic Training Cooperation.
President Tinubu’s agenda in Brazil focuses on strengthening collaboration in aviation, agribusiness, livestock, security, trade, and cultural exchange with Latin America’s largest economy.
