Nigerian Leaders Urge Unity, Resilience in 65th Independence Messages

As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence anniversary, leaders across the country have called for unity, resilience, and renewed commitment to nation-building.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio expressed optimism that the reforms of President Bola Tinubu were beginning to yield results, urging citizens to endure the temporary hardship for long-term growth.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, in his goodwill message, encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful about the nation’s future.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, however, decried worsening insecurity and economic hardship, while commending citizens for their resilience.

Also, Afenifere Leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, expressed optimism that Nigeria would overcome its challenges and achieve national greatness.
