Ajose was a Quintessential Civil Servant – Sanwo-Olu

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday described the second Head of Service in Lagos State and member of the Governance Advisory Council, the late Dr Akinsanya Sunny Ajose, as an exemplary civil servant, a loyal officer and a transformer who dedicated his life to the development of the state and the good of all.

The Governor, represented by his wife, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu said this at the public presentation of the biography on Dr Ajose, entitled “The Sunny Side of Ajose’’, at Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja.

The Governor also commiserated with the family and the state on Dr Ajose’s death urging the people to draw inspiration from his life of service to humanity and positive encouragement which would continue to inspire all for a greater Lagos.

The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr Olabode Agoro, urged civil servants to do their best by emulating the late Dr Ajose who left a good legacy with his selfless service to humanity as captured in his biography saying the state Government would continue to appreciate his contributions.

Earlier, the book author, Dr Ololade Olatunji described the work as a light house for future leaders who dare to stand out in rendering services to the public and humanity.

Also, the book reviewer and former Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun, SAN, explained that the fourteen-chapter book captured the journey, triumph and legacy of the man Ajose was.
