The maiden edition of Ascend360, organized by Blaque Swann Legal Practitioners, held in Lagos, brought together entrepreneurs, professionals and families for a transformational experience rooted in mentorship, faith and intentional growth.
With the theme “Build – Protect – Grow,” the conference became more than an event—emerging instead as a movement designed to equip people to strengthen their businesses, careers and personal lives.
Convener, Barrister Titilope (Obafemi) Adisa, said the platform was born out of a desire to provide clarity and quality guidance for people building anything meaningful, whether a business, a family or a purpose-driven life.
She explained that although law is often associated with conflict, her firm chose public enlightenment as its contribution to society, creating Ascend360 as a space where individuals can learn how to structure, protect and scale what they are building.
Speakers at the event emphasized the value of mentorship, with several committing to personally guide participants—an approach Adisa described as essential for strengthening Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
She also appealed to government to simplify business registration, harmonize identity systems and expand access to affordable funding so entrepreneurs can build with less friction.
A major highlight came from Pastor Tunde Adisa of White Olive Christian Assembly, who encouraged participants to see opportunities beyond Nigeria’s challenges.
Brand influencer Tomike Adeoye added powerful personal reflections on balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship and mental well-being, urging participants to prioritize their spiritual life, ask for help without guilt and remain committed to their purpose.
By the end of the conference, attendees left with renewed clarity, confidence and spiritual grounding.
With plans already in motion to expand mentoring structures and segment future editions, Ascend360’s first outing has set a strong foundation for a platform committed to helping Nigerians build, protect and grow every aspect of their lives.
