Congress, Sanwo-olu, Ojelabi, charge APC members on peaceful conduct

Ahead of the party’s congresses and primary elections slated to commence tomorrow, members of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State have been urged to be peaceful and conduct themselves in an orderly manner.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu gave the charge at a stakeholders meeting held at the party Secretariat ACME, Ogba, Lagos.

Governor Sanwo-olu appealed to members of the party to strictly adhere to the guidelines and modalities provided by the party for the Committees mandates.

Members of the Screening Committee for State House of Assembly Aspirants and Special Congress Committees to elect Local government, State and National delegates are already on ground for the exercise.

In an address of welcome, the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Cornelius Ojelabi said the party congress and that of the party primaries should not be seen as a do or die affairs by the delegates.

He enjoined all members to respect party hierarchy in addressing their grievances.

The party cheiftain advised council Chairmen in the state to encourage eligible voters to register for their permanent voters card before the end of next month.

Contributing, Speaker Lagos State Assembly, Chief Mudashiru Obasa and a member of the Governance Advisory Council, Tajudeen Olusi, appealed to members to support, work and abide by any decision made to ensure the success of the party in order for it to continue to reign.
