The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Equatorial Guinea in their first game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations AFCON on Monday 14 January 2024.

This will be followed by games against Cote d’Ivoire on January 18 and Guinea-Bissau on January 22.
According to The Confederation of African Football, the opening game of the competition will feature hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau on Sunday, January 13, 2024 at Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium of Ebimpe, in Abidjan.
The 34th edition of the biggest sports event on African soil will take place from 13 January to 11 February 2024 in Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Bouake, San Pedro, and Korhogo.
