An aircraft belonging to Enugu Air skidded off the runway on landing at Benin Airport this afternoon.
The airline confirms everyone disembarked safely, with no injuries or casualties reported.
According to the airline, the aircraft has been secured while the relevant aviation authorities have been notified in line with standard procedures.
An assessment is now underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the occurrence.
Enugu Air says the incident may lead to temporary adjustments to some flight schedules.
The airline assures affected passengers they will be contacted directly and provided with the necessary assistance, stressing that the safety of passengers, crew and flight operations remains its highest priority.
