A Lagos-based environmental sustainability firm, Jawura Environmental Services, has launched its flagship environmental campaign, the Green Print 2.0, as part of activities commemorating World Environment Day 2026, with a renewed call for collective action towards environmental protection and sustainable development.

Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Tosin Rowland-Osibanjo, said the initiative was designed to address pressing environmental challenges such as poor waste management, pollution, and climate change through community engagement, education, and advocacy.
According to Mr Rowland-Osibanjo, the Green Print 2.0 is a three-day campaign aimed at educating, engaging, and inspiring citizens to take responsibility for environmental sustainability.

“At Jawura Environmental Services, we believe that environmental sustainability begins with collective action.
Challenges such as poor waste management, pollution, and climate change continue to impact our communities, making it imperative for individuals, businesses, and institutions to play their part in protecting the environment,” he said.
The programme which started today features an environmental awareness roadshow across major commercial centres in Ikeja, inauguration of eco-huts constructed from recycled plastic bottles in partner schools, tree-planting exercises, and an Environmental Fair showcasing innovative recycling solutions and climate action initiatives.
On her part, Environment Sustainability Expert, Ashley Chidebe noted that the campaign reflects the organisation’s commitment to promoting responsible waste management, environmental education, and active community participation, while stressing the importance of empowering young people, describing them as critical stakeholders in driving sustainable environmental change and building a greener future.
Hinting that about fifteen trees will be planted in Baptist High School to educate students on eco friendly environment, Chidebe commended the campaign’s principal sponsor, for its unwavering support and commitment to environmental responsibility and community development which demonstrates the kind of corporate leadership required to achieve lasting environmental impact.
Highlighting key participants at the Environmental Fair, the Project Coordinator, Mr Wasiu Adeleke commended the development partners Wecyclers, EcoSisters, and the Waste Museum for their innovative approaches to environmental sustainability, saying their participation underscores the campaign’s belief that practical, locally-driven solutions can effectively tackle environmental challenges.
