An educationist, Mr Anthony Isiani has charged educational institutions in the country to keep pace with technological innovations.
Mr Isiani, an engineer and CEO of Schools Development and Support International Limited, gave the charge at a news conference in Lagos.
He emphasised that educational institutions are well-positioned to drive innovation through partnerships with researchers, developers and other experts.
“Achieving excellence in all spheres of life begins with how knowledge is transferred and imparted”.
According to Mr Isiani, the world of learning has evolved significantly and institutions must be ready to compete favorably in the educational space.
“From school architecture to classroom setup and recreational areas, everything must be considered with the interest of pupils and teachers in mind”.
He therefore advised educational institutions to use this summer break to reset and reengineer themselves, identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
He pointed out that he and his team have developed over nine homegrown solutions to make teaching fun, fulfilling and seamless.
According to him, his vision is to support humanity as best he can, using his expertise in education and engineering.
