The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has pledged to partner the Rotary Club of Ikeja Airport to further it service to humanity within the airport community.
The Managing Director, FAAN, Captain Rabiu Yadudu who made the pledge during a courtesy visit of the Rotary Club District Governor 9110 Mr. Remi Bello to FAAN headquarters said, the projects the club had embark on in the areas of health care, education, conflict resolutions among others have had positive impact in the community.
Captain Yadudu represented by the General Manager, Finance, FAAN, Mrs. Francisca Sonaike said, the agency was ready to encourage the club to do more, adding that, their selfless service and monetary contributions in the execution of projects would not go in vain.
“God bless you and continue to give you wisdom with which to put funds together because I know it is not something easy to do, you have to dig deep into your pockets to do these projects”.
The Rotary club District Governor 9110, Mr. Remi Bello while commending the management of FAAN for their support, called for more collaboration to achieve their sole aim of service to humanity.
“We are here to seek for further collaboration, to seek for partnership with FAAN. We know FAAN is the gateway, is in charge of gateway to the country and there are so many things we can do together”.

Highlight of the visit was the inauguration of a signage at the domestic airport terminal round about which the district Governor says, would assist passengers and first time visitors to the airport.
“This is a gateway where you have visitors most people that are coming here don’t know their routes so that will assist them directing their routes, it is lime a GPS for them”.
President, Rotary Club Ikeja Airport, Mr. Eta Neji said, other projects have been lined up to be executed in the coming months by the club to enhance the airport environment.
