The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN, has procured 15 additional security screening machines for immediate use at the General Aviation Terminal and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The spokesperson for FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu says, the machines have been installed, adding that, the equipment for operations and facilitation management systems at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja have arrived Nigeria and were already being installed to address recent challenges in airport facilitation.
She appealed to all stakeholders to bear with them while the installation last, as all hands were on deck to ensure speedy completion of the project.
