This information will gladden the hearts of Lagos employees, as Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu has approved one hundred percent basic salary as end of the year bonus for all staff under the employ of the State government.
Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro made this known in a memo made available to newsmen in Alausa.
According to the memo, all public servants including employees of the local governments, State Universal Basic Education Board and Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps are to benefit.
Mr Agoro said the decision reflects the present administration’s commitment to the welfare of its workforce and recognition of their dedication, hard work and resilience throughout the year.
However, the bonus will be paid in two tranches, while fifty percent will be paid this month, the other fifty percent will be paid in January 2026.
While wishing all public servants in Lagos a prosperous festive season, the Head of service urged them to continue to strive in excellence in the discharge of their duties and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and service.
