Governor Sanwo-Olu Kicks-off Reelection Campaign with a rally

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has kicked off his re-election campaign with a mega rally at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos Island.

The Governor who thanked Lagos residents for the confidence reposed in him in the last three and a half years solicited their support again under his campaign theme tagged “A Greater Lagos Rising”

Reeling out his administration’s achievements in various sectors, Governor Sanwo-Olu appealed to the people to renew his mandate based on performance.

Governor Sanwo-Olu also solicited the people’s support in the election of the party’s Presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu when they go to the poll on February twenty-five, 2023.

Earlier, the Director-General, APC Lagos State Campaign Council, Senator Ganiyu Solomon enjoined party members to pick up their PVCs and to also move from house to house to mobilise residents to exercise their civic right for the party.

“Permanent Voters Cards are essential for the actualisation of the dream of Governor Sanwoolu re-election, pick up your PVC to vote in next year’s election for the party” he said

Describing Governor Sanwo-Olu as the best man for the job, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi appealed to residents to vote him in again.

Pastor Ojelabi said that “Governor Sanwoolu has performed in the last three and half years beyond the expections of Lagosians, hence the need to reelect him to take the state to greater heights.

According to him, the APC is synonomus with development, and the development has been felt across the state in terms of healthcare service, education, infrastructural development”

The party flag was presented to all the candidates at the state and National Assembly Elections during the rally which attracted a large number of party supporters who dressed in yellow T-shirt and Ankara fabrics.
