Patjeda Group has outlined its approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), describing it as a structured effort aimed at education, small-business support and community infrastructure, rather than one-off charitable gestures.
Speaking on Wednesday at the policy dialogue on sustainable development in Ikeja, Lagos State, the Group Managing Director, Mrs Ehiagwina Patrick, explained that the company had embedded social-impact programmes into its operations through two platforms, namely, the Patrick Ejedawe Empowerment Foundation and the Heart of Gold Support and Care Initiative.
She said the Group had supported dozens of small-scale entrepreneurs, provided scholarships and learning materials for pupils from low-income families, operated food-support schemes for vulnerable households and undertaken limited road palliative works along the Uromi axis of the Agbor–Auchi Expressway to ease transportation.
Patrick added that the Group also supports Anifowoshe Primary School in Ikeja through youth-focused programmes and plans to expand its Back-to-School and empowerment initiatives in 2026.
Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Dauda, commended the Group’s interventions and urged other corporate organisations to adopt similar community-oriented programmes.

Also speaking, the Oníkòyí of Ikoyi-Ekiti in Ekiti State, Oba Moses Ogundana, attested to what he described as the humane approach of the company in its business dealings. He recalled that the Group supported him after his residence was damaged in a fire incident and said that while he once worked with the organisation, he enjoyed cordial relations with management, adding that staff were treated “like family.”
Earlier in his remarks, the Executive Director, Corporate Services and Finance, Mr John Ighodalo, said the organisation treated CSR as a form of capital, noting that businesses owed a duty to be socially responsible to their host communities.
