HID Counsels Ojokoro Pupils to Abstain from Social Vices

The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Mr. Hammed Idowu-Tijani has advised pupils in the LCDA to abstain from social vices and embrace good virtues.

The Council boss gave the advice at the commissioning of a new blocks of classrooms at Bioyin community, which was facilitated by Mr. James Adisa Owolabi, member of the Federal House of Representatives.

“I wish to implore all intending pupils of this new school to abstain from social vices and embrace unrestricted access to high-quality education” he said.

He further stated that his administration will continue to accord education top priority as he appreciates the member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Mr. Owolabi for facilitating the completion of the school which was initially started by the Council but could not be completed due to paucity of funds.

“This is part of our administration’s commitment to expanding access to education at all levels, to enable our children realize their academic dreams”, he concluded.

Present at the official commissioning and handing over of the school by Mr. Owolabi are the Director of Projects in the State Universal Education Board (SUBEB) Mr. Alalade; Chairman of the Community Development Committee Advisory Council (CDCAC) in Lagos state, Alhaji Azeez Amzat; Leader of Ojokoro Legislative Council, Hon. Tunde Oyekunle; the Councillor representing Ward F in the LCDA, Mr. Dauda Moruf; Supervisor for Education in Ojokoro LCDA, Barrister Bamidele Ogundele; Baale of Ike-oluwa community, Chief M.O Bello, amongst other notable personalities in the LCDA.
